Terms of Use

By accessing or using the PetCare application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

PetCare application is a mobile application that provides AI-powered pet health assessments, symptom analysis, photo-based visual evaluation, and urgency triage. The App uses artificial intelligence to help pet owners better understand their pet's symptoms and determine appropriate next steps.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the service at any time without notice.

The App is not a substitute for professional veterinary care. All health assessments, symptom analyses, urgency ratings, and recommendations provided by the App are generated by artificial intelligence for informational purposes only.

You acknowledge and agree that:

• The App does not provide veterinary diagnoses, treatment plans, or medical prescriptions.
• AI-generated assessments may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate for your pet's specific condition.
• You should always consult a qualified veterinarian for your pet's health concerns, especially in urgent or emergency situations.
• You are solely responsible for all decisions regarding your pet's health and medical care.
• Reliance on information provided by the App is strictly at your own risk.

In case of a pet emergency, contact your veterinarian or nearest emergency animal hospital immediately. Do not rely on the App for emergency guidance.

To use certain features, you may need to create pet profiles and provide information about your pets. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information about your pets for the best possible assessments.
• Maintain the security of your device, as pet profiles and chat history are stored locally.
• Accept responsibility for all activities that occur through your use of the App.

The App may offer subscription plans (such as Plus and Pro) that provide access to additional features or higher usage limits.

• All subscriptions are processed through the Apple App Store and are subject to Apple's terms and conditions.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your device's Settings under Apple ID — Subscriptions.
• We do not provide refunds directly; refund requests must be submitted through Apple.

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the App or its systems.
• Submit false, misleading, or fabricated symptoms or information to manipulate AI responses.
• Use the App to generate content for commercial purposes, including but not limited to veterinary advice services.
• Use automated systems or software to extract data from the App.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the App.
• Attempt to bypass rate limits, subscription restrictions, or other usage controls.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App or its AI models.

All content, features, and functionality of the App, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, AI models, algorithms, and software, are the exclusive property of PetCare application or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

By submitting photos, symptom descriptions, or other content through the App, you grant us the right to process this content as necessary to provide the AI health assessment service. Photos and text are sent to third-party AI services (Google Gemini API) for analysis.

You represent that you have the right to submit any content you provide and that such content does not violate any third party's rights.

The App may enforce usage limits based on your subscription tier, including limits on the number of health checks per month and image resolution. These limits may be adjusted at our discretion. Current limits are communicated within the App.

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the App will cease immediately.

The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that:

• AI-generated health assessments will be accurate, complete, or reliable.
• The App will be available at all times without interruption.
• The App will be free of errors or defects.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PetCare application shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses.

In particular, we shall not be liable for any harm, injury, or loss to any pet or person arising from reliance on AI-generated health assessments provided by the App.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes by posting the updated terms on this page. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.
