Welcome to PetCare application ("we," "our," or "us"). We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your information responsibly. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information when you use the PetCare application (the "App").

By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

We may collect the following types of information when you use the App.

Pet Health Information

To provide AI-powered health assessments, the App may process:

• Pet profile data you provide (name, species, breed, age, weight, sex, medications)
• Symptom descriptions entered in chat
• Photos of your pet submitted for visual analysis (eyes, skin, stool, wounds, etc.)

Pet profiles and chat history are stored locally on your device using on-device storage. We do not transmit or store pet profile data on our servers.

AI Processing

When you submit symptoms or photos for analysis, this information is sent to Google's Gemini API to generate health assessments. Google may process this data in accordance with their own privacy policy.

On-Device Machine Learning

The App uses CoreML models that run entirely on your device to filter and classify input. This processing happens locally and no data is sent externally.

Subscription and Purchase Information

We use RevenueCat to manage subscriptions. RevenueCat may receive:

• Anonymous app user identifiers
• App Store purchase receipts
• Subscription status and transaction information
• Device identifiers necessary to verify purchases

Device Information

• Device model and OS version
• App version
• Device identifiers
• Language and regional settings

Analytics Data

We use Firebase (Google) for analytics, which may collect:

• Device identifiers and app usage statistics
• Crash reports and diagnostic information

• Provide AI-powered pet health assessments and symptom analysis
• Process and analyze pet photos for visual health evaluation
• Manage subscriptions and premium access
• Enforce usage limits and rate limiting

We do not sell your personal information.

Pet profiles, chat history, and session data are stored locally on your device. Rate-limiting data is stored in the device Keychain and is not synced to iCloud.

We implement appropriate technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information collected through the App. However, no electronic storage or internet transmission method is completely secure.

We retain information only for as long as necessary to:

• Provide and maintain the App
• Manage subscriptions
• Improve the service
• Comply with legal obligations
• Resolve disputes and enforce agreements

On-device data persists until you delete the app or manually remove the data within the App.

Depending on your location, you may have rights regarding your personal data:

• Access the information we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your data
• Object to or restrict certain data processing
• Request data portability where applicable

PetCare application is not intended for children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that personal information from a child under 13 has been collected, we will take steps to delete such information promptly.

The App provides AI-generated health assessments for informational purposes only. It is not a substitute for professional veterinary advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified veterinarian for your pet's health concerns.

The App relies on third-party services with their own privacy policies:

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When changes are made, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy. Continued use of the App after changes indicates acceptance of the updated policy.
